Cory Asbury To Release New Album 'Outsing The Angles' Sept. 18

Cory Asbury releases his new song, “All Saints,” today from his forthcoming studio album, Outsing The Angels, arriving September 18. The 15-track project marks Asbury's return to worship and a renewed season in his calling as a worshiper. 

Built around a declaration that has echoed throughout the Church for generations, “All Saints” points to the hope found in Christ while acknowledging the tension of waiting.

“‘Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again’ is one of the oldest things the Church has ever said out loud, and I wanted a melody that could carry all of it in one breath,” shares Cory Asbury. “I wrote it in the waiting. I sing it to remind myself the waiting isn’t the end.”

Also out today is the new music video for “My Closest Friend,” his previously released single from the project. “All Saints” follows a series of songs already released from Outsing The Angels, including the title track, “Only Ever,” “My Closest Friend,” and “Holy God.”

Known for writing one of the most impactful worship songs of the last decade, the triple-platinum hit “Reckless Love,” Asbury’s return to worship comes after more than five years of running from the Church, worship ministry, and ultimately what he describes as his calling. That season of disconnection and spiritual exhaustion eventually brought him back to a deeply personal encounter with God’s unconditional love and a renewed desire to write songs for the Church.
